Employer presentations - how to book
Bookings for 2012 are now open and can be made on Careers Online
Please note that we allocate dates for Information Sessions on a first in, first served basis, so be sure to book in as soon as possible to secure your preferred date.
How to book
- Go to the Careers Online Log On page
- Enter your username and password or Register as a new employer if your organisation has not previously registered.
- Locate the ‘2012 Employer Presentations" link in the right hand menu.
- Complete the details including 3 date and time preferences, targeted disciplines, catering requirements (for evening sessions).
- You will then receive confirmation of your booking from us.
We will do our best to accommodate your preferred dates based on the availability of venues within the University. To accommodate as many employers as possible, we may need to set a limit of one session per semester.
Charges (all excl GST)
- Lunchtime information sessions (12:00pm to 1:00pm or 1:00pm to 2:00pm): $290
- Networking hour (1:00pm to 2:00pm, including 5 minute set up): $290
- Networking hour (12:30pm to 2:00pm, including 30 minute catering set up): $390
- Evening information sessions (5:30pm to 6:30pm): $450
- Each hour (or part thereof) after 6:30pm: $300
- Tables for catering: $25 per table
- Technical support staff (if required): $90
- Security guards (if required): $300
Cancellation fee of 50% applies within 14 days of the session and 100% thereafter.

If you wish to serve catering at your information session, please make arrangements directly with your chosen provider.

Security Procedures
Careers & Employment has security procedures in place for risk prevention and incident management. If you are conducting an Information Session or Networking Hour and believe you may have a security risk, please contact us.
Student societies events
If you are holding a lunchtime Information Session or Networking Hour you may wish to do it in conjunction with a Student Society barbeque. Please ask us about this when you make a booking. Be aware, however, that restrictions may apply depending on the scheduling of other Information Sessions and timetabling constraints.
