Presentations - Videoconferencing
This format allows your organisation to do video-based presentations directly to students using your organisation’s videoconferencing facilities (IP connection).
- The sessions are available for up to one hour between 1pm – 2pm on selected dates, using theatres that can hold up to 100 students.
- You can speak directly to students via video link, with some limited opportunities to respond to audience questions.
- Email us your promotional video or PowerPoint presentation at least two weeks prior and we can show these as part of your presentation.
Videoconferencing requirements
To approve your videoconferencing presentation, it is a requirement that your organisation has access to videoconferencing facilities that have an IP connection.
For no additional charge, we will inform the students you want to target about your presentation in the following ways:
- Listing on Careers Online event scheduler.
- Listing in the Careers Resource Centre.
- Display of your promotional posters in relevant faculties and departments.
- Promotion through faculty websites and newsletters (where available).
- Promotion through Careers & Employment’s weekly student e-bulletin.
Cost
AUD$500 for a one hour session (excl. GST) Cancellation fee of 100% applies within 28 days of the session.
Additional marketing of your presentation
We encourage you to inform students about your presentation via a targeted email or consider additional marketing opportunities such as web banner advertising and distributing your promotional material on campus.
