Careers & Employment welcomes the involvement of faculties and departments in careers activities which enhance our students' and graduates' employment prospects. We can help you help your students in all areas of career planning and job seeking.

Careers Online jobs and events system

Use your University email username and password to log on to Careers Online and keep up-to-date with jobs and events. Take advantage of the work groups feature to manage sub-groups of students.

eLearning

Staff are also able to access the range of eLearning resource material available to students including Resumé and Application Express, Adult Directions career exploration software, OZJAC courses database, DVDs on interviews and assessment centres, Going Global for work overseas and more.

Weekly e-bulletin

A weekly e-bulletin can be sent to you (during semester) that has a focus on careers and employment information relevant to University of Melbourne students, recent graduates and staff. More information.....

Employing students

Need help? We can help you find a student to work either on a casual or temporary basis. Employing students has instructions on how to advertise your job vacancies to students.

Mentoring

Staff are encouraged to volunteer as mentors. They will be carefully matched with students in related specialty areas, through a structured program.
