Upskill courses

In an increasingly competitive job market, having the right skills is critical to obtaining the best opportunities.

In 2011, Upskill began working with universities across Melbourne to encourage students of all disciplines to participate in the Upskill for the Future Program. The nationally recognised qualifications offered by Upskill will help you develop communication, networking, teamwork and other professional skills.

The two courses being offered are the Certificate III in Business BSB30110 and Certificate IV in Business Administration BSB40507. These qualifications are delivered online and require as little as 1 hour per week of your time.

Benefits to you

Scholarships to cover enrolment fee

The training is open to Australian citizens/permanent residents aged 15 and over residing in Victoria without completed qualifications. For eligible students enrolling into one of the programs, Origin Human Resources / Talent2 will offer a scholarship to the value of $187.50 to cover the mandatory enrolment fee. This scholarship requires a student to complete at least the first two units of the course (approx. 2 hours work) within 1 month of confirmation of enrolment.

If a student does not complete at least two units within this timeframe, the student forgoes his/her scholarship and would be asked to pay the enrolment fee to remain enrolled (or subsequently to cancel enrolment with no financial penalty).
